Operational Excellence Manager (f/m/d)

Core Responsibilities

  • Analysis, evaluation, targeted and sustainable process optimization regarding production as well as order flow from a lean perspective

  • Communicating as well as monitoring the achievement of the set lean goals

  • Identification, structuring, coordination and active follow-up of lean initiatives

  • Development and introduction of lean, flowing, standardized processes in cooperation with the executives

  • Lean coaching and training

  • Provision of regular status updates on the lean activities

  • Recording of the cost reduction potential

  • Participation in cross-location lean management activities, as well as location-specific activities in all our production locations (Europe, USA, China)

  • Reporting directly to the Team Leader Operational Excellence (Bad Oeynhausen, Germany)

Experiences

  • Technical or economical degree, e.g. Systems Engineering, Sustainable Engineering, Smart Production

  • Solid experience in the independent introduction and implementation of lean management in a manufacturing company

  • Proven process expertise and strong analytical skills

  • Sound capabilities in the implentation of lean tools and methods – 5S, ShopFloorManagement, Kanban, OnePiece Flow, VSM, Kaizen, Kata etc.

  • Well-balanced and motivational leader

  • Willingness to deal with the special responsibilities in the production of hazardous material storage systems

  • Confident handling of the MS Office programs

  • Willingness to travel

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar Lean Manager qualification desirable

  • Very good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German is desirable / alternatively French or Czech
